My daughter and I went out shopping on my birthday the other day and I must say I had a new experience, one that I thought wouldn't come for at least another 10 years.... We were in the dressing room, and in a hurry, (as usual) and I said "c'mon let's try on our clothes together." In response came from a 13 year old voice, "No Mom, you try on yours and I will sit and then YOU sit and it will be my turn" I guess so my full attention could be all on her as she tried on her new duds that SHE picked out! I followed her lead, realizing how grown up she is becoming and at the same time, trying to soak all of her childhood in.... for I know it is going by all to fast.
Anyway, thought I would share her "new outfit"
